Why not make my first post about what it should be about? That’s right—God is my SOURCE.
In the world we live in, full of many faiths, beliefs, doctrines, philosophies, and dandruff from the mental stress of it all (lol)…I’ve come to a simple and a complex conclusion: No matter what you believe in—let it be rooted in LOVE. Love is the source. God is love. Anything else is contradicting.
Even when God (given many names and yet none at all, catch that), the Universe, Morgan Freeman, or whatever else people call the “higher source” allows you to be disciplined with karma (Galatians 6:7)…it’s done in LOVE and grace. Never more than what’s necessary. Never beyond what you can bare. So therefore…let us also operate as such to ourselves and one another. Most of all, let us never put anything OVER the source.
As beautiful as roses are, they are NOTHING without sunlight and water. Watering roses without the SUN involved will drown and rot the roots. Too much sun on the roses without the WATER OF LIFE will cook them alive. Remember that song we used to sing in school about the anatomy of a tree? “The leaf on the branch, and the branch on the tree, and the tree in the hole, and the hole in the ground…” and so forth. I’m not old—you are.
Anyway, if you rehearse those lyrics, it’s simply saying that EVERYTHING is connected. Nothing or nobody is greater than the next. We are all needed, loved, and purposeful to God. Let’s always remember, in order to flourish and live strong, that tree in the ground was connected by ROOTS to the source. “And the green grass grew all around all around…”—and so forth. Wonderful song. Amen lol.
SpiRITUAL:
When you pray/meditate, try offering nature’s elements (water, fire, air, earth, and also metal) in your session. These can be represented by candles (fire), a cup or bowl of water; plants, crystals, and/or herbs (earth), incense, diffuser, or scented candle (air), and a metal singing bowl, instrument, coin, etc. (metal).
Be sure to be thankful for God’s resources (elements, sun, moon, stars, universe, plants, animals, etc.). We ourselves are MADE of the elements. Made and dependent on the SOURCE. -Ngozi The Blessed
