Bad Boy on the Beats- YN Flex is the next HEAT to handle.
Raunchy. Risky. Catchy. Fire Extinguisher…CHECK. The list is fulfilled when it comes to this “lyrical wildfire”. St. Louis native rapper YN Flex is here to waste NO time. No time like the present…and Flex’s gift is to set it ABLAZE.

30 yr. old rapper Dennis “YN Flex” Ingram, grew up with none other than the “king of pop” crooning in his airwaves. “Before I even started rapping, I always listened to Michael Jackson. That’s the only music I really liked as a kid.”, says the downtown/west side native. “I was around old school, like Temptations. That’s the stuff I grew up on. Yep…my family were “old heads”, he grins. That influence would be the very recipe needed to mold a NEW school musician…with pinches of PLAYBOY.

As Flex grew older, he found his love for hip hop/rap. “I used to go through the projects with this song I wrote called “Rappin Trappin.”, he recalls. “It was inspired by Lil Wayne’s “A Milli”. People was messing with it, so I kept going.” Flex says his influences as far as rap are Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane, and Soulja Boy. “It’s Wayne lyrically, and Soulja Boy beat wise.” He describes his personal style as “versatile”. “I’m just now getting into harmonizing, but it’s more rap. I would say I’m “alternately aggressive”.

In July 2021, YN Flex dropped his first single and music video, “Freestyle” on YouTube. In January 2022, he followed up with “Arch Dat Bacc”, featuring Drippy Drew. He also released “Wasp Wit Dat” in February the same year. Flex is preparing to release his first EP, featuring his hit single, “Flex on a B****”.
YN Flex is currently focused on releasing quality music and cultivating a solid fanbase. “Any artist would want to be mainstream, but I just want a solid fanbase, to where when I drop some music, I know they’ll be there.” Needless to say, this bad boy is giving us “shooting star” vibes…one flame at a time.

“Don’t question yourself. Go for what you know.” -YN Flex
