Meet Artist Love. A multi-faceted creative with a Nitch for serving nod worthy visuals, poetry, and creative direction. With a heart for expression, and an eye for angles, Artist’s works leave us in awe and anticipation for the next level. Setting a new stage for eye catching art, what Love creates, you can never hate. Tap into his journey.
“I actually went to school to be a film director.”, shares the 26 yr. old photographer, poet, and creative director. “It didn’t work out the way I wanted it to, but it led to photography.” The St. Louis, Missouri native took photography classes, picked up a camera…and the rest took HIM.

Initially, the Parkway Central alumnus began in fashion photography. “From there, I dove more into fine art and surrealism.”, says Love. Artist’s passion for the arts stems back to a specific childhood era where he first explored his crafts. “I would say around age 8, it started between writing and dancing. I saw this movie called “Break In”. It was old school, but that’s when I first learned I loved dance”. Love shares that his passion for dance is what cultivated his creativity. “My writing has always been with me since then as well”.

In addition to photography, dance, and poetry, Artist is also a song and short story writer. “I have a very curious mind, so anything new, I can try it out and do it.” Artist credits his mother as his first creative inspiration. “On top of that, it would just be other creatives.”, he adds. “Once I started understanding myself and what my creativity is, I started drawing inspiration from life itself”. Art specializes in “poise” and “subliminal” creative direction in his photography. His signature visuals usually include the model/subject not just in unique fashion but posed in uniquely layered expression.

“I’m very abstract pretty much with all of my art styles.”, explains Love. “Creating the unconscious images of my mind, I like to create art that makes people think”. The photographer says that he favors the “vintage” and “grainy” look. The artist also shares his most memorable work was his “Hidden Visions” workshop, hosted at downtown St. Louis’ photography studio, Kamera House. Love has also had his work featured in art exhibitions in the local area. “The main message in my art is love. Love oneself, love each other. Express yourself. Expression is very powerful”.
Artist Love is currently creating, cultivating, and event planning. “I’m working on pushing more creative projects. I’ve taken breaks, but we all have those moments”. With his support, and his partner, Desirae Fernandez, Art’s impact is highly heartfelt. Look up, LOVE is in the air.

“Trust and believe in your art. Your art is your power.” -Artist Love
