Faces in Focus- Jade’s fantastic frame of mind creates acrylic MOOD.
Fiesta of feelings. Colors and charisma. Rainbow of REASON. That’s the best way to describe the amazing pieces of St. Louis native and based artist, Jade H.art. Big on community, bigger on canvas, I chat with the beautiful and vibrant artisan on life, dreams, and whimsy worldview.

Local commissioned artist Jade H.art, finds her solace in “expressing fun, whimsical depictions of the human face.” “I’ve always loved art. I’ve always loved creating.”, she explains. “I like really bright vibrant colors. I really like expressing the community aspect as well. It’s about how I see things, and how I want the world to be.” The SIUE graduate takes emotions into consideration as her catalyst for “showing face” in her pieces and inviting admirers to embrace.
As an autistic ADHDer, the 26 yr. old blossom knows all too well what it’s like to struggle with focus. “There’s a lot about my experience that people don’t really know about.”, shares Jade. “So that’s what I want to share. It’s really hard when I don’t have motivation. So, because of that, I think my main motivation when I’m not feeling inspired is deadlines.” Describing her personal artistic style as “intense”, the acrylic painter uses fuel from her triumphs to express thought provoking pieces of “feels”.

“I have a really big personality.”, she adds. “I think that also comes out in my art. Not just because I’m trying to, but because it just flows out of who I am.” Jade’s pieces have been featured in various local exhibitions, businesses and galleries, including Amor Tattoo and The KRe8 Place. Her pieces are also currently featured in St. Louis’ premier art infused inn, Angad Arts Hotel, and upcoming in Espresso Yourself Cafe’. “My first painting where I went “public” with my art, was this painting of a broken comb called, “Ugh”. People really liked that one because they saw themselves and their own experiences in it.”
The artist is currently gearing up for future exhibitions and showcases and also planning to venture beyond the region. “I guess I just want to make a name for myself so that my art has the ability to go the distance. Overall, I have a lot of pride and love for my art, and it should get notoriety.” On that note, we agree. Forward in focus of feelings, the JADE shall never fade.
