Soul & The Songbird- Aria’s tunes take us SKYE high.
Meet Aria Skye. A local songstress of sweet and humble nature. A voice of heavenly vibes. Soulful, stylish, and full of stardom, this crooner holds the origins and makings of an “industry kid” destined for greatness and galore. Tap in below to find out more!
St. Louis native artist, Aria “Aria Skye” Evans grew up in a musical household. “Both of my parents created music. My dad, he’s a rapper and producer.”, shares Aria. “My mom is a singer, and she’s also dabbled on the producing side. Growing up around that, it was kind of easy for me to hone in on both of their traits and put it to work.” With an early exposure to music and the mechanics, Aria was in no doubt likely to be before the mic sooner or later, shining her light.

The Parkway North alumnus spent her younger years developing her voice, writing, and vibing away to other young artists, such as Ariana Grande. “I’ve always loved her style of music.”, says Aria. “She has a lot of soul. She has a good flow in her music as well, and I think that comes from Victoria Monet, who used to write for her.” The artist also admires others such as R&B singers H.E.R. and SZA.

As a songwriter, Aria writes her music centered in emotions, values, and experience. “I write about self-confidence, and not letting people take advantage of you. Also, not pouring too much of yourself into other people. Knowing your worth and who you are.” The 21 yr. old artist describes her artistic style as “feminine”. “I want listeners to get that feminine vibe that’s in my music.”, explains Skye. “Very open and feminine. Like when you listen to artists like Ariana and SZA, they let you in. They give you their experiences. Very earthy. That’s my kind of vibe.”
In June of 2022, Aria Skye released her debut single, “Girls Like You” on streaming services. Her second single, “Damn, Again?” was released in October of the same year, followed by “Wish You Were Here” in December 2023. Her latest single is “Hot”.
Aria Skye is currently working on new releases, performances, and artist development. “I have a few events coming up, one that I’m super excited about…I’ll be performing at Rage Fest November 30th. I’m also working on releasing new tracks. I want to engage my audience more before I release my bigger project.” This budding artist looks forward to progressing, and eventually becoming a well known BLOSSOM. “My main goal is wanting to influence my audience with something they can relate to. A safe space. Also, to be able to give back to my community.”
